Description:
This position will provide comprehensive budget execution support, financial, accounting, and cost data reporting for technical projects and programs.

Primary Duties:
  • Provides comprehensive budget execution support, financial, accounting, and cost data reporting for technical projects and programs.
  • Conducts detailed quantitative analysis of financial data and offers strategic recommendations to project managers to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with project goals.
  • Develops budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures and regulations while analyzing budgeting and accounting reports to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Utilizes N-ERP to perform financial execution functions and support data calls as needed.
  • Directs and mentors junior analysts and conducts training as necessary to enhance their understanding and application of analytical techniques and methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in N-ERP
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and DoD financial management policies
  • Ability to mentor and train junior analysts in financial processes and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience: Master’s degree in Technical, Business, Computer Science or IT discipline and 10 years of experience in financial management supporting DoD projects OR Bachelor’s degree in Technical, Business, Computer Science or IT discipline and 14 years of experience in financial management supporting DoD projects.

Clearance:
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $135,000.
